Cat's Whisker Pansies on our patio

To all the creatures and flowers I’ve seen today.

To all my happy cats basking in the warmth

Under bushes and rolling on the gravel drive.

To all the ecstatic blue tits in the apple tree

Singing the glory of the day.

To all the house flies who have flown

In and out of my kitchen and annoyed me with their buzzing.

To those two bloody great hornets who

Flew across the patio earlier.

To my pansies who are filling the patio with their

Orange, purple, white and yellow glows.

Happy faces dancing in the breeze.
